Czech Airmen Fly To Freedom -- The eight Czech airmen seen leaving the "Siebel" airport at Manston this evening (Wednesday).Eight Czech airmen - members of former members of the Czech Air Force - put down at Manston aerodrome, Kent, to-day (Wednesday) in a "borrowed" passenger 'plane in which they had ***** from their land "because the principles of free living have been taken from us". The men, five of whom are pilots with wartime knowledge of Manston, declined to give names, ranks, or circumstances in which they made their secret escape from Czechoslovakia but said that others may use the same means of getting out.
