Cottage For The Prince The 10-ft. High cottage which has been accepted by Princess Elizabeth as a gift for the baby Prince, and which is to be on show at Olympia. Three firemen who, during the war, made toys in their spare time for nurseries, have constructed a 10-ft. high Tudor cottage, which has been accepted as a gift for the baby Prince. The cottage will be shown to the public during the ten-day fair which is to be opened by Mrs. Attlee, wife of Britain's Premier, at Olympia, London, to-morrow in aid of the Margaret McMillan Memorial Fund. The cottage has two doors large enough to enable children up to the age of ten to walk in and out, and all the furniture inside is on a scale to suit young children. November 28, 1948.
