The Coronation Coach: His Majesty's State Coach, in which drawn by eight Bay State Horses he will arrive to and from His Coronation next year, photographed at the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace, where it is kept. it is also used when the King opens Parliament in person. It was designed by Sir William Chambers in 1761, the frame work of the body consists of eight palm tress, the four corner tress supported by lions' heads leaded with trophies allusive to the victories obtained by Great Britain prior to the completion of the coach. The whole of the carriage is ornamented with gilt-carved work, and the emblematic and other paintings on the panels and doors were executed by Cypriani.
