The Consulate Palace and Djemaa el-Djedid Mosque at Algiers, Algeria. Contrary to its name, the New Mosque, (the Djemaa el-Djedid) sometimes also called the P꣨erie Mosque, was built in 1660 on the site of an earlier Koranic school and paid for by public subscription.
