Unusual place of shipment which arrived at Liverpool to-day (Saturday) on the ***** White Star liner 'Media' was an old steering wheel. It was the wheel used by Seaman-auther Joseph Conrad on his first command, the 'Otago', and it has been brought over here by Mr. Christopher Morley, the novelist, to commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary of Conrad's death.
