Communal Flying -- The second aircraft used by the club is this Dehavilland Moth Minor. Aircraft needs an overhaul of the 90 hp Gipsy Minor engine every 400 flying hours. Commercially this costs £90, but by doing it themselves the club save that sum, as well as avoiding the cost of incidental maintenance. January 01, 1949. (Photo by Pictorial Press).
