Clearly Showing The Destructive Action of Mount Etna Eruption -- The above series of photos in Movette form Cleary shows the action and destructive result of the recent eruption of Mount Etna. The top photo shows one of the large country homes here as it appeared before the advancing river of molten lava reached it. The next few photos show the structure slowly collapsing before the onrush of the lave. As clouds of steam completely obliterate the building from view. Till finally the inexorable forces of nature have accomplished their work of Havoc, and we see the steam cloud which masked the ruinous work of the lava river slowly dissolve into air. And once more the omnipotence of nature has declared itself. November 21, 1928. (Photo by M - G - M News Photos).
