Clearing up the debris after a massive explosion caused a bridge over the Regents Canal to blow up. A barge covered in petroleum and gun powder blew up as it passed underneath the bridge on the night of1st of October 1874. Several lives were lost and near by houses destroyed. Date: 10th Oct 1874
