Clapper ca. 1900-1640 B.C. Middle Kingdom This clapper is shaped like an arm and a hand. The fingers and a broad bracelet are indicated by incised lines. Additional roundel ornaments decorate the arm and hand; they are typical of Middle Kingdom clappers, but their significance is unclear.
