The Christie Case. Mr & Mrs. Riley, who were witnesses today, at the opening of the trail at the old Bailey of John Reginald Halliday Christie, 55 year old clerk who is accused of murdering his wife. Mrs. Riley said that on Match 13th she was looking at a notice board in a shop when Christie approached her and asked her whether she was looking for a flat. she said she was and Christie told her that he had one to let.
