He has toured to and fro in Europe from Sweden and Norway to Spain and Yugoslavia, besides visiting Argentina, Brazil and other South American countries, North and South Africa.The press notices were unanimous in their praise when Ferras played in London this year:"He gave a heartrendingly beautiful performance of Chausson's Poem, passionate and poignant in tone ... his tone has a wide range of dynamics and colour and his phrasing comes near to speech in its eloquence". The Times, London,This year he had the honour of being the youngest judge ever invited to adjudicate at the bi-anmal international piano and violin playing competitions held in Paris.
