Champions Meet -- Australia's triple champion, Dave Sands, admires the belt won by Jack (Kid) Berg - at left - in 1931 for the World Junior Welterweight Championship, during a break in training at Jack Solomons' West End gymnasium for his April 4th fight with Tommy Yarosz of America.Kid Berg defended his title twenty times.Dave is also out for world honours - he has stated he would like to meet world mioddleweight champion Marcel Cerdan either in an overweight match or for the Fenchman's title.
