In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the 21st Theater Sustainment Command in Kaiserslautern, Germany, shines a spotlight on Albert Cruz-Bianchi (left in portrait photo) and his family. His family roots are in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, where his mother and father were born and raised. Cruz is on his 47th year serving in federal service, 24 years of those were on Active Duty in the U.S. Army. He has been both an enlisted Soldier as well as an Officer and retired as a Major. Americas diversity is a great strength, as people of different backgrounds, cultures, and heritage contribute their unique perspective, skills and talents. Our Army is stronger because of this diversity and we work to ensure that every member of the force has the opportunity to reach his or her full potential.
