Captain Of The Royal Tour Liner -- Seen aboard the S.S. "Gothic" at her berth in King George V Dock today is Commander David Aitchison from Dunmow (Essex), Captain of the ship, which leaves for Jamaica on November 10th, during the Royal Tour. Preparatory work on the 15,900-ton liner "Gothic" is now complete and the vessel is ready for the part it will play in the forthcoming Royal Tour of the Commonwealth. In December, it will be occupied by H.M. The queen and H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh, when the liner picks them up at Jamaica, after they have flown there on the first stage of their journey.
