Captain Anthony Frederick Wilding, New Zealand born tennis player and Wimbledon champion in 1910, 1911, 1912 and 1913 pictured playing on court and defeating M. E. McLoughlin, the American champion in the challenge round. A lawyer as well as a keen motorist and motorcyclist, Wilding died near Neuve Chapelle, France on 9 May 1915 while fighting in the Battle of Aubers Ridge. Date: 1913
