Atlantis is nearing the end of its 10-mile journey from Kennedy's Vehicle Assembly Building to its new home.As part of transition and retirement of the Space Shuttle Program, Atlantis will be displayed in a new exhibit hall at Kennedy's visitor complex beginning in the summer of 2013. Over the course of its 26-year career, Atlantis traveled 125,935,769 miles, completing 33 missions during 307 days in space.
