The Avenging WAAF's - ACW Eileen Hugo was crying when she sat down to tea in the RAF mess at Burton wood, Warrington, Lancs., RAF Corporal Derek Wood had insulted her she said. The three other waafs with her looked around saw the corporal , went out after tea, waited for him. And when he came out he was hit on the head with lengths of iron piping. He was his so hard his signet ring was broken when he raised one hand to protect himself.
