Aumale, Henri Eugene Philippe d'Orleans, Duke of (Paris, 1822, Zucco, 1897). Fourth son of Louis Philippe. In 1840 he took part in the campaign of Algeria, was named governor general of the French dominions in Africa in 1847. After the fall of Louis Philippe in the 1848 revolution, he emigrated to Britain. Colored engraving.
