Atomic Weapons To Defend Europe -- Eisenhower -- General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Commander, Tells the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Council, in Rome today November 26, that the Newest Atomic Weapons will be used to defend Europe. The General went on to say that these would not take the place of men and guns and that while his command was receiving troops on schedule, there was a serious time-Lag in the output of Equipment.
