Art, Craft Keep Boy Patient Busy -- Brent Louez, 14, is one of those lucky patients who finds the hours pass quickly in hospital. Although he is lying on his back in St. Vincent's Hospital, with his leg in the air, Brent has had his time taken up with painting and basket-making. And he's so good at both, that the nurses in St. Luke's Ward have begun to ask him for presents. "But they aren't all going to get them because I'd be here for a year making them," Brent said today. The lad, who lives in Bell Street, Preston, fractured his pelvis when he slipped from the swing bridge at Coburg on August 2. September 23, 1954.
