All dancers participate in a traditional round dance as part of the celebration and the joining of cultures at the 2 Spirit PowWow. As Pride weekend kicks off in Edmonton, the Indigenous Community recognizes the event with the 2 Spirit Powwow. The term Two-Spirit is a direct translation of the Ojibwe term, Niizh manidoowag.
