Airs Resumptive. V. - Lilith Libifera (after Rossetti). A satirical drawing and poem published in Punch in 1894 on the art of Aubrey Beardsley. Beardsley's Portrait of the Artist in Bed is caricatured as 'portrait of the artist in bed(lam), puzzle - to find him', with Beardsley-style faces in the fabric pattern. The poem satirises Beardsley as Whiskersley and The Yellow Book as The Bilious Book. Date: 1894
