Air Picture: Parkhurst Prison As Isle Is Searched For Escaped Convict -- An aerial view of Parkhurst Prison, Isle of Wight, made as the search for Jackson continues.Nearly a thousand troops, police and warders are searching the Isle of Wight, off Britain's south coast, for George Jackson, 24-year-old ex-Commando soldier, who escaped from Parkhurst Prison on the island five days ago. Police believe that Jackson has a good hide-out in which he stays during the day.Since Jackson's escape, there has been a series of burglaries in which food, clothing and money have been stolen, and an attack on an innkeeper and his wife with a chopper.
