Air Ministry Search Revels Pin-up Girl - Leading-aircrafts woman Poggy Burkett at her Enfield home. A large and sudden increase has occurred in the mail of Leading-air crafts woman Peggy Burkett of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force, 21-year-old pay accounts clerk at the Royal Air Force establishment, Uxbridge, Middlesex, who was photographed in connexion with an Air Ministry search for a suitable recruiting poster model. She has had many letters of admiration, especially from the North Country, and has been requested by the ship's company of 'Enfield' , a Fleet Auxiliary coaster, to become their pin-up girl.
