OLFACTOTHERAPY. Reportage at an olfactotherapy practice in Paris. Olfactotherapy is a method that uses the smells and vibrations of essential oils to elicit conscious and unconscious memories. The practitioner uses the sense of smell to find the root of suffering in order to ease it. In practical terms this technique allows archaic emotions and memory, that are directly connected to the olfactory nerve, to be put to work revealing old traumas by bypassing the mental.
