Rabbit brush (Ericameria nauseosa, also Chrysothamnus nauseosus) in California's El Paso Mountains. Native to the Great Basin, Mojave, Sonoran, and Chihuahuan deserts. It grows up to seven feet, with a range from western Canada to California, Texas and northern Mexico. Navajo obtain a yellow dye from the flower heads.
