Health outreach workers in the slums of the Woreda district of Addis Abba, Ethiopia. The community workers are from the slums. They work for a year to two as volunteers. If they can stick with it, HIWOT will send them to school for more training. They use cultural appropriate traditions, like coffee ceremony to get information out to the public about AIDS.
