Temple Church is a late 12th century church originally constructed as part of a monastic complex known as the Temple, the headquarters in England of the Knights Templar. It was heavily damaged during the Second World War but has been largely restored. It was featured in the Da Vinci Code by American author Dan Brown, now made into a film starring Tom Hanks.
