An Intore dancer performs at Butare. Many years ago, his sisal headdress would have been a lion's mane.In the days of the monarchy in Rwanda, Intore dancers were an integral part of the Royal Court. Today, several groups perform nationally and internationally. Their rhythm, movement and impressive drumming is widely acclaimed.
