Nyangatom men dance by leaping high into the air. The men paint their faces and bodies prior to a dance. The young men then form a circle linking arms and take it in turns to dance around the inside of of the circle. The Nyangatom or Bume are a Nilotic tribe of semi-nomadic pastoralists who live along the banks of the Omo River in south-western Ethiopia.
