The online marketer, eBay, opens a pop-up store in New York on Friday, November 20, 2009 with previews of select items and internet kiosks for those consumers who wander in and are inspired to do online shopping. The store called eBay @ 57th will remain open until December 29. In a touch of accidental irony the store is in the space which was originally occupied by Phillips Auctioneers which moved in 2003.
