Daytona Beach road race. 27 cars started in a 250-mile race. The turns soon were badly cut up, the loose sand so deep cars had to be pulled out by wreckers. 10 cars were left when the race was stopped at 241 miles. The winner, Milt Marion, is at the extreme left, piloting a standard Ford V-8 roadster. March 25, 1936.
