G. Krins. Photograph of G. Krins, a member of the Titanic's band of eight musicians and one of the many men that died at their post when the ship sank on April 15th, 1912. The band played on until the water was over their feet. Titanic was built by Harland & Wolff in Belfast Ireland during 1910 - 1911 and sank after striking an iceberg off the coast of New Foundland during her maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New York, USA, with the loss of 1,522 passengers and crew.
