Indian Mutiny, also known as the Sepoy Mutiny or The Great War of Independence : Mutineers attacking magazine at Delhi 11 May 1857. Lieutenant Willoughby, who died of his wounds, gave the order to the defending garrison to exploded magazine, so denying the rebels supplies of arms and ammunition. Colour-printed lithograph c1900.
