The Inner Door of Temple 22 at Copan. Uaxaclajuun Ub'aah K'awiil, also known as a 18 Rabbit, built Temple 22 on Copan's Acropolis. The inner doors were decorated in carvings symbolizing rainclouds and supernatural beings, surrounded on either side by a Bacab, creatures which held up the sky. They are standing on skulls, symbolizing the way to the underworld.
